Armour-Lyte Range
Overview
The Armour-Lyte product range consists of a selection of rigid polyurea elastomers. Resilient and durable, they have been used widely for over 15 years within the scenography market in the areas of costume, set and prop design and construction.
The products have appeared in films such as The Martian, Guardians of the Galaxy, Prometheus, Thor II, War Horse, Alexander, Gladiator and Troy and television series such as Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers, Atlantis, Galavant, Vikings and Dr. Who.
Armour-Lyte can also be used as a coating to produce lightweight architectural features and durable floor surfaces.
Armour-Lyte is available in standard or fire retardant grades. The fire retardant grade has achieved a Class 1 Fire Certification to BS476 Part 7; for surface spread of flame.
Armour-Lyte is available in three standard colours; black, dark grey and neutral however other colours available on arrangement.

Armour-Lyte and Armour-Lyte FR are available in basic colours:
- Dark Grey
- Black
- Neutral
We can produce other colours depending on your projects needs.
In-mould paint can be used to achieve exact colours, with further finishing effects applied afterwards. Due to the good release agent items can be demoulded in one minute.
The Armour-Lyte FR system has been tested to achieve a rating of Class 1 Surface spread of Flame in the BS475 Part 7 Fire Test.
