Cast Elastomers
Overview
Polyurethane Cast Elastomers are versatile rubber like polymers which stretch when exposed to force and return to their original shape once the force has been removed.
Cast Elastomers are known for their excellent load-bearing capacity, abrasion resistance, impact strength and resistance to oil and grease. As a result of this cast polyurethane can be found everywhere, used in; mining, oil and gas industries as well as subsea equipment.
As seen in the table below we at Isothane manufacture a versatile range of both TDI and MDI based polyurethane cast elastomers which allow us to offer the ideal physical properties required for your specific application.
