The Project:
A small garden designed by the innovative company
Metagardens, to demonstrate the possibilities of advanced 3D
modelling software programmes and the process of digital
fabrication, applied here to the 21st century urban plot.
The Solution:
CNC cut recyclable polystyrene was coated in Armour-Lyte by
approved fabricator Fineline.
The Result:
Metagardens’ creation wowed the show and has now been
relocated to Palmbrokers, serving as a stimulating yet relaxing
spot for employees to have lunch! Hardcoating cut blocks is an
increasingly accepted low cost architectural method for features
and details. It is used on many residential and commercial
developments being lightweight, durable and very convincing.
