2005 SUGGESTION SCHEME WINNER ANNOUNCED

CONGRATULATIONS TO JASON WADDINGTON, PLANT OPERATIVE

   - WINNER OF THE ANNUAL SUGGESTION SCHEME PRIZE OF £250
     FOR THE ENTRY BELOW:-

WINNING IDEA:

P------ Charging Line ( BV- )

As the P------ & R------ go through the same manifold we can only charge one item at a time. Batch time can be reduced by moving the P------ line to a recirculation line that is no longer used. Production time will be reduced by at least 1 hour per batch. The cost of this work would not be so much as we could do the job ourselves.

Operations Manager's reply:

Good idea as it is better to keep raw material supplies separate where possible. I have looked at the work required and agree it can be carried out in house at low cost.
