Product Description

VANQUISH - S is a water based product for use as an impregnation sealer ( in conjunction with Vanquish - E water based Class 0 coating ) when encapsulating asbestos containing materials ( ACMs ).

VANQUISH - S contains no VOCs or solvents of any kind.

Processing

VANQUISH - S is easily applied by spray, brush or roller. Graco airless spray equipment is recommended for machine process.

Storage, Handling and Personal Protection

• VANQUISH - S should be stored in dry conditions at a temperature around 20ºC.
  
  VANQUISH - S has a shelf life of 6 months.
• Opened, part used containers must be resealed immediately after use.
• The recommendations in our Safety Data Sheet for this product must be followed at all times. More general information is included in our publication “A Guide to the Safe Handling of Polyurethane Chemicals”.

Additional Information

All surfaces should be sound, clean, dry and free from oil or grease. Do not use in wet or freezing conditions.

For asbestos encapsulation, i.e. treatment of asbestos containing material ( ACM ) in good condition, which can be safely left in situ, use VANQUISH - S water based asbestos impregnation sealer to permeate the material and seal in any loose fibres.

VANQUISH - S should be left until dry ( 1 - 4 hrs depending on ambient conditions ) before the encapsulation coating Vanquish - E is applied to the entire surface, ensuring any small crevices are properly coated. Follow the instructions for use on the separate Technical Data Sheet for Vanquish - E.

VANQUISH - S coverage guidance: one coat at a rate of 0.2 - 0.5 litres per square metre.
