Polyurethane Foam.
Additional Information
All surfaces should be sound, clean, dry and free from oil or grease. Do not use in wet or
freezing conditions.
For asbestos encapsulation, i.e. treatment of asbestos containing material ( ACM ) in good
condition, which can be safely left in situ, first use Vanquish - S water based asbestos
impregnation sealer to permeate the material and seal in any loose fibres. ( Alternatively, a
solution of Vanquish - E diluted with clean cold water may be used for the penetrating coat:
ask Isothane technical staff for advice ). Follow the instructions for use on the separate
Technical Data Sheet for Vanquish - S.
The penetrating coat should be left until dry ( usually 2 - 4 hrs depending on ambient
conditions ) before the encapsulation coating VANQUISH - E is applied to the entire surface,
ensuring any small crevices are properly coated. Areas subject to mechanical damage such
as joints may require additional protection with a reinforcement membrane.
Coverage guidance: one coat at a rate of 1 litre per
square metre for a dry film thickness of at least 0.7mm.
