Isothane At The National Flood Forum Conference
Isothane at National Flood Forum Conference
We are happy to announce that will be attending and exhibiting at the upcoming National Flood Forum Conference on the 1st February 2017 at The Brunei Gallery, SOAS, University of London. The event will be an opportunity for many people all with an interest in flood resilience from several backgrounds including local authorities, architects and property developers to discuss a wide range of topics relating to flood resilience.
We will be there exhibiting to discuss our water resilient cavity wall insulation polyurethane foam product, Technitherm.
Technitherm is a closed cell foam which if flooding were to occur would not allow the ingress of water through the cavity into a property like traditional forms of insulation, not only that but once the flood water had cleared whereas other forms of insulation would need to be replaced Technitherm remains serviceable, coming with a 25 year manufactures guarantee.
What is The National Flood Forum?
The National Flood Forum is a national charity dedicated to supporting and representing communities and individuals at risk of flooding. They do this by:
- Helping people to prepare for flooding in order to prevent it or mitigate its impacts
- Helping people to recover their lives once they have been flooded
- Campaigning on behalf of flood risk communities and working with government and agencies to ensure that they develop a community perspective.
The NFF works to support the recovery of victims of flooding, to improve resilience of communities to future flood threat and speaks out to highlight the plight of flood victims and the need for adequate flood prevention investment.
