| The Problem: |
Insulation required to 8 tank tops, approximately 500m2 each,
over a 3-year period with each tank being made available at
fairly short notice and at different times of the year, which
resulted in some of the tanks being sprayed in the winter
months. This created the problem of the surface temperature
frequently being below 5°C. The standard Thermadek 40
system was unsuitable in these conditions as the surface was
too cold to achieve the correct reaction from the foam. |

| The Solution: |
Isothane Ltd was contacted to see if they could supply material
that would spray at temperatures below 5°C. A suitable system
was offered that would allow the contract to carry on throughout
the winter months –
Thermadek Winter Grade. |

| The Outcome: |
The product development was progressed in a matter of days,
and the modified system performed in line with expectations
and enabled the contract to be successfully completed on time. |
 
Insulation required to 8 tank tops, with
some of the tanks being sprayed in the
winter months below 5°C.
Successful product development and
application achieved in a matter of days.
