The Problem: Rapid heat loss through the concrete digester roof was
severely hindering the sewage digestion process.
The
Solution: Pressure wash the tank top to remove all organic growth.
Seal the
concrete substrate with Isothane PU primer. Spray
apply 35mm of
Isothane Thermadek high density insulation
foam.
Apply Isothane
Foamshield twin - pack PU coating to all
foamed areas.
The Outcome: A seamless, weatherproof
lid with a significantly improved insulation performance.
